My First Post Here

I am kind of a late bloomer for the blogging. Before, I have been either too occupied with multiple jobs or I have not fully understood all the benefits of the blogging.

Professionally, mainly I have been involved mainly with C# programming for the number of years Now, I would like to explore other languages. I will try to cover something out of my comfort zone; I would like to learn more about languages like: Python, Ruby, PHP, or C, C++, Assembler, Perl, Lisp and any other where I have little or no experience.

Why?

I believe that one can break learning plateau by doing and exploring different related and non-related things. So eventually all other skill will give a valuable insights, which quite resembles to the title of the Hobbit’s chapter “There and back again”. There are other reasons but I will cover these later.

P.S.: I am using this very first post to test my blog engine made in Ruby on Rails. Yes, I know it is not much of a test, but I will accompany this with a few more posts.
